The BPEC Underfloor Heating Installer course is a level 3 qualification aimed at installers of UFH or radiant heating. It has been developed by BPEC in association with the Underfloor Heating Manufacturers Association (UHMA).

- Introduction to Underfloor Heating Systems
- Different types of UFH systems
- Floor construction types used with UFH
- Operation of underfloor heating systems
- Basic design theory of UFH
- Installation including practical session on installing underfloor heating systems
- Testing and commissioning UFH systems
- Troubleshooting and fault finding underfloor heating systems
Pre-Requisites
Candidates must have:
- A number of years experience in plumbing or conventional heating
Or
- Hold a formal craft qualification such as NVQ level 3 in in plumbing or heating engineering
