Attendance pattern: The candidate will have to attend the Academy for initial interview and subsequent practical assessment and exams. On site assessment in the workplace may be required depending on evidence supplied.
Overview
This City and Guilds 6089 Level 2 NVQ Plumbing course is tailored to fast track experienced individuals to achieving the minimum acceptable level of qualification for industry. Achievement of this Level 2 Plumbing NVQ qualification is recognised by the ‘Construction Skills Sector’ CSCS ‘Skills’ Card program allowing the holder access to construction sites and sub contracting.
Course prerequisites
At least 5 years verifiable plumbing experience and currently working as a plumber/heating engineer.

If you do not have the required experience you can still complete the City & Guilds Level 2 6129 Technical Certificate & 6089 NVQ in the normal fashion.
The last date for registration on the 6089 is 31st July 2012. After that date only the 6189 is available. You will need an existing level 2 6129 certificate to register for level 2 6189 NVQ.
