Duration: 1 Day
This course is for engineers who wish to access the HETAS H005 Biomass course but will not be registering for the installation of woodburning, multi fuel or open fired stoves.
The course provides a pathway for engineers from other heating disciplines to gain entry to the HETAS H005 Biomass course without having to take the HETAS H003 and H004 (4 days total) courses. The H005BR course only covers modules from H003 and H004 that are relevant to biomass installations and includes topics from Building Regulations Approved Documents parts F, G, J, and L as they relate to biomass fueled appliance installations as well as information on chimney design and principles.
If the H005BR Biomass course is undertaken and successfully completed the candidate will be issued with a limited scope certificate for the installation of biomass appliances and equipment only.
The course does not cover areas that form part of the main prerequisites.
