Course Aim

The Quality Management Systems (QMS) course is designed to provide an introduction to the principles and practice of introducing a Quality Management System into a company.

Who would benefit?

The course is aimed at personnel who wish develop a Quality Management (QMS) System. Having a QMS in place is one of the requirements needed to join the micro-generation certification (mcs) scheme.

Pre-requisites

Persons attending the course MUST have at least one of the following qualifications:-

  • There are no formal pre-requisites for this course

Course Content

The course consists of the following training modules:

  • Induction. An introduction to the course.
  • Quality Management. What is it and do I need it?
  • Quality Manual. What should be in a quality manual?
  • Controlling your Business. How a QMS will help you run your business.
  • Reviews. How did we do?

Course Duration and Location

This 1 day course is available at our training centres

Certification

Candidates wishing to gain accreditation under the micro-generation certification scheme will also need an NICEIC (or equivalent) Certificate for the technology you are installing (e.g.PV) and an NICEIC (or equivalent) Health & Safety qualification. These are usually held in the same week as the PV course to make one convenient 5 day package.
